Bees - our silent protectors
Working in the background, making our world secure. Just like Nethone.
Bees are important to us in so many ways: they maintain our ecosystem, as they humbly pollinate plants, ensuring crop diversity and food for harvest. At Nethone, we care about their security as much as we care about yours, which is why we’ve adopted a beehive and are sharing with you the sweet products of their labour to boost your health! By protecting bees, we protect the world.
How do bees benefit the world?
Despite the importance of honey bees to our very survival, they have unfortunately been experiencing tough times in recent decades due to intensive farming efforts along with use of pesticides. This is why they need our help.
35% of the world’s agricultural output is pollination by bees.
Through pollination, bees support the growth of trees, flowers and plants that serves as both food and shelter for many species.
90% of the world’s plants require cross-pollination - without bees, biodiversity decreases.
Your very own Nethoney bees
The humble honey bee is without a doubt one of the most important living creatures on our planet. We barely notice them as they work subtly in the background. They really are the motors that keep the cycle of life going. Although at Nethone we work with AI and advanced Machine Learning (ML) models to prevent cybercrime, nature has provided us with the perfect example of fruitful cooperation that can produce sweet results, all thanks to honey bees. They will go so far as to prevent toxins entering the hive by detecting minute amounts of dangerous chemicals on worker bees and blocking their entry. Doesn’t this sound familiar to anyone involved in combating fraudsters?
