About the role

Fraud prevention systems are becoming more and more dependent on machine learning. Traditional rule-based engines are no longer enough in this dynamically changing environment where fraud patterns change from day to day.

In Nethone this idea has been with us since our inception. We are looking for talented people to join our Data Science Team to fight fraud with the power of Data. We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist.

Responsibilities

  • Building a product that helps detect:
    • fraudulent behavior in payments
    • identity theft and account takeover
  • Investigating fraud patterns - dissecting data, looking for hints of fraudulent activity.
  • Researching new algorithms & looking for new data sources.
  • Contributing to our internal tools  - the idea of automation is close to our hearts.
  • Training, evaluating and monitoring ML models that process millions of transactions
  • Participating in data science projects that directly impact our Product and clients’ bottomline.
  • Presenting your findings to Nethone’s clients in collaboration with other team members and Customer Success Team

Requirements

  • Generating outbound leads based on targeted account lists and buyer personas provided by the Market Intelligence unit
  • Qualifying outbound and inbound leads together with Senior Business Development Executives’ support and market expertise 
  • Contacting potential leads via email, social media, cold calling and the usage of tools in direct cooperation with the Revenue Operations team (e.g. tools for automated outreach, building cadences, etc.)
  • Introducing Nethone as a company to the potential customers
  • Proactively searching for new business opportunities on the market
  • Scheduling meetings and calls between potential customers and Nethone’s Senior Business Development Executives
  • Providing SDR Lead with regular sales reports and update
