Marketing Automation Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Automation Strategist who will launch new marketing automation processes at Nethone, therefore an ideal candidate has experience in strategy creation.
The overarching objectives of the Strategist position are automating and optimising the process of generating inbound leads, warming those leads, and seizing unexplored sales opportunities.
The position commands both creative thinking (in terms of strategy development) as well as more hands-on work in marketing operations.

  • Creating and implementing a marketing automation strategy focused on the B2B tech industry
  • Optimising ongoing marketing campaigns based on performance data and co-create future marketing campaigns
  • Creating and managing data, processes, and strategies in HubSpot, such as: creating automated mass email flows; defining segmentation of the target audience; running multiple A/B tests in parallel
  • Cooperating with a partnered performance agency on inbound marketing campaigns


  • Track record in the fields of B2B / tech / international business marketing
  • Proven results in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Experience in marketing operations, preferably with a focus on automation
  • Very good understanding of the marketing and sales alignment
  • Proficiency in English at B2/C1 level
  • Customer-centric approach to marketing
  • Data-oriented mind & ability to draw conclusions from gathered information
  • Creativity in problem-solving and proactive approach
  • Nice to have
    • Hands-on experience in HubSpot (particularly with the Marketing Hub)
    • Practical knowledge of various marketing strategies (SEO, organic and inorganic lead channels)
    • Strong writing skills; a focus on sales and marketing language welcomed
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to spot unexplored opportunities
