About the role

Nethone is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development for our SaaS company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building and driving a repeatable sales process, as well as the ability to integrate methods, data, and recruitment and performance management to achieve results. The candidate should have excellent situational leadership skills, able to switch between coach, mentor, and challenger depending on the situation.

We have a group of Sales Development, Business Development, Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Engineers, and RevOps working together to attract new business, support our clients, and drive growth. What will you be responsible for?

  • Delivering results: Setting and owning sales goals, bridging gaps in the short term, and taking ownership of pricing and legal areas. Currently, we are operating between 5M-10M AAR in Business yearly, and we are expecting to keep a solid growth YoY
  • Data-driven: Analysing pipeline and sales data to make improvements and rely more on data than anecdotes
  • Process-driven & structured: Introducing principles and processes to avoid biases, combine sales methodologies, and manage projects effectively
  • True leader, caring but performance-focused: Balancing caring for the team with a focus on performance, onboarding new joiners effectively, and investing in the proper training
  • Coach & Mentor: Coaching and mentoring team members to develop into better sales teams
  • Building Systems to enable people and scale teams: Driving topics that build systems to make the sales team focused, productive, and successful
  • Communication Responsiveness: Being to the point and collaborating with other teams to improve sales materials and support
  • Exposure to senior management at Mangopay group - Advent International is our new majority investor and now we are a part of MangoPay Group offering the best-in-class platform-specific solution
  • The face of Nethone: Representing Nethone at speaking opportunities and conferences, sharing expertise in the field

What do we expect from you?

  • Proven track record of success as a Head of Business Development in a SaaS company, preferably payments or/and fraud focused
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
  • Knowledge of various sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, SPIN selling, Sandler
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members effectively
  • Ability to balance caring for the team while staying performance-focused
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to build systems to enable people and scale teams
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work proactively with other teams to improve sales
  • Ability to represent Nethone at speaking opportunities and conferences
